Work of Art: The Next Great Artist:
The artists visit a Hudson Valley town, get to know the local folks and create a portrait based on one of them in this new episode (9 p.m. Bravo).

Mystery Diners:
A pub owner’s suspicions of her bartender are confirmed with the help of mystery diners in the premiere of this new series (10 p.m. Food).

American Horror Story:
“Birth” Vivien gives birth; Tate and Violet try to rid the house of some of its ghosts (10 p.m. FX).

24/7 Flyers/Rangers: Road to the NHL Winter Classic:
HBO Sports’ teams up with the NHL to bring viewers inside the Philadelphia Flyers and the New York Rangers in the weeks leading up to the Jan. 2 NHL Winter Classic in this four-episode unscripted series (10 p.m. HBO).

The Real World:
The season in San Diego finishes (10 p.m. MTV).

Psych:
In the midseason finale, Shawn and Juliet’s (James Roday, Maggie Lawson) romantic vacation is interrupted when their room is robbed and a body surfaces at a nearby winery. Jason Priestley guest stars in this new episode (10 p.m. USA).
