Engineer Kevin Cook looks at a new way of finding out just how much some of the world’s most amazing buildings and ancient monuments are worth starting with three hourlong programs airing on National Geographic. Eiffel Tower, at 5 and 8 p.m., followed by Egypt’s Great Pyramid at 6 and 9 and Grand Central Terminal at 7 and 10.

Prime Suspect:
The murder of a diamond dealer has Jane (Maria Bello) seeking clues from his wife, while a lead sends Jane and Blando (Tim Griffin) to question some Brooklyn rappers. Aidan Quinn also stars in the new episode (10 p.m. NBC).

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia:
 The raunchy comedy wraps its season (10 p.m. FX).

Presidential debate:
 The Republican candidates meet for another debate (6 p.m. Fox News Channel).

The Year With Katie Couric:
 The Arab Spring. The royal wedding. The Penn State scandal. The race for the Republican presidential nomination. Expect all these to be on Couric’s list as she looks back at a very eventful 2011.Chelsea Handler and Tim Gunn are among those contributing (9 p.m. ABC).

The Year the Earth Went Wild:
 This new special takes a look back at devastating 2011 weather events (9 p.m. Discovery).

Selling Spelling Manor:  
Candy Spelling is saying goodbye to the family home, a 56,500-square-foot mansion, which contains a bowling alley, an arcade, a projection room and a design studio among its many specialty areas (9 p.m. HGTV).

The Christmas Pageant:
 An overbearing theater director gets a new outlook on life when she takes a small-town gig in this 2011 holiday treat (8 p.m. Hallmark).

SPORTS

Women’s college volleyball:
NCAA semifinals: Florida State vs. UCLA (4 p.m. ESPN2); Illinois vs. USC (6 p.m. ESPN2).

Hockey:
The Kings visit the Columbus Blue Jackets (4 p.m. FSN).

Football:
The Jacksonville Jaguars visit the Atlanta Falcons (5 p.m. NFL).
