The series, which airs Friday nights, kicked off its debut season Oct. 28 — against Game 7 of the World Series — and has averaged a respectable 6.9 million viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research.

And NBC will test how it fares outside its Friday time slot, airing a new episode on Thursday, Dec. 8 at 10 p.m.
