Jonathan Hock directs this new documentary about Chris Herren, a promising basketball stars who was drafted by the Denver Nuggets in 1999, but drug and alcohol addiction plagued his career and nearly killed him (5 p.m. ESPN).

NCIS: When her current husband is kidnapped, the ex-wife (Melinda McGraw) of both Gibbs and Fornell (Mark Harmon, Joe Spano) asks the NCIS team to help track him down. Cote de Pablo and Michael Weatherly also star (8 p.m. CBS).

Man Up! After Craig and Kenny (Christopher Moynihan, Dan Fogler) have an argument, Will (Mather Zickel) suggests they do a project together — a suggestion they take a bit too far in this new episode (8:30 p.m. ABC).

Raising Hope: When Hope (Baylie and Rylie Cregut) hits another child at day care, her father and grandparents (Lucas Neff, Martha Plimpton, Garret Dillahunt) fear that she’ll turn into a killer like her mother, in this new episode (9:30 p.m. Fox).

Women, War & Peace: In this new episode, two Afro-Colombian women in a mountainous region in Colombia are fighting to hold on to the gold-rich land (10 p.m. KOCE).
