NBC cancels 'Free Agents'
The Wednesday series, starring Hank Azaria and Kathryn Hahn, struggled to find an audience since its mid-September launch against competitors "The X Factor" and "Survivor." Its most recent airing -- which was also its last -- brought in a low 3.2 million viewers. No decision has been made on what will fill the time slot.
Azaria, who launched a Twitter campaign earlier this week to get viewers to tune in, tweeted on Thursday: "Thanks for watching everyone. I'll watch things you do, just let me know where you'll be doing them and I'll just show up."
It's the second series from the Peacock Network to get yanked; earlier this week NBC pulled the plug on "The Playboy Club."
