True “Gentleman” apparently give up their time slot (or have it taken away): CBS is moving its new comedy “How to Be a Gentlemen” to Saturdays beginning Oct. 15.

The rookie comedy is being swapped with “Rules of Engagement’ on Thursdays, beginning Oct. 20, following the hit comedy “The Big Bang Theory.” “Rules,” which returns for its sixth season, was originally set to premiere Oct. 15.

“How to Be a Gentleman,” an odd-couple comedy starring David Hornsby and a post-“Entourage” Kevin Dillon, premiered to soft ratings last month, with roughly 9 million viewers -- not banking heavily from its lead-in “Big Bang,” which drew 14.5 million.

While it’s hardly a vote of confidence for the show, at least it allows for more air time. For now.
