Tavis Smiley Reports: The journalist focuses on the continuing increase in the high school dropout rate among black teenage males (8 p.m. KOCE). 

Ringer: After witnessing a murder, a woman flees to New York to see her estranged sister in this new series (9 p.m. KTLA). 

ABC News Special: Former first lady Jacqueline Kennedy discusses her life in the White House with President John F. Kennedy in previously unaired interviews (9 p.m. ABC). 

Frontline: In the new episode “The Interrogator,” FBI agent Ali Soufan discusses Sept. 11 (9 p.m. KOCE). 

Parenthood: At the end of last season, Sarah (Lauren Graham) was fretting over Amber's (Mae Whitman) involvement in an accident, and Adam (Peter Krause) was having problems with his son's (Max Burkholder) behavior. (10 p.m. NBC). 

POV: The new documentary “If a Tree Falls: A Story of the Earth Liberation Front” profiles a former member of a radical environmental group who faces life in prison (10 p.m. KOCE). 

Web Therapy: Fiona's (Lisa Kudrow) investor (Steven Weber) goes out of business in this new episode (11 p.m. Showtime). 

SPORTS 

Baseball: The Arizona Diamondbacks visit the Dodgers (7 p.m. KCAL); the Angels visit the Oakland Athletics (7 p.m. FSN).
