Archer: Archer is finally tracked down in the South Pacific by adventurer Rip Riley in the season premiere of the animated series (10:32 p.m. FX).

The Shining: Jack Nicholson delivers a terrifying performance as a recovering alcoholic who accepts a job as the winter caretaker of a deceptively serene mountain hotel in director Stanley Kubrick’s 1989 thriller (9 p.m. BBC America).
