The dynamic duo of Beavis and Butt-head is more than 20 years older than when it first premiered on MTV with heavy-metal T-shirts, an endless stream of insults and infectiously moronic laughs. But not much has changed, as they prove with their upcoming return to MTV.

New episodes of the animated comedy will debut Oct. 27 on MTV. Slipping back into the silly vibe is their creator, Mike Judge, who scored with ‘Beavis and Butt-head’ before moving on to further success with the long-runnng animated Fox show ‘King of the Hill’ and the live-action hit ‘Office Space.’

Judge is excited about overseeing the new adventures. Instead of their previous routine of taking pot shots at music videos, the pair will now target MTV series such as ‘Jersey Shore’ and ’16 and Pregnant.’

Beavis and Butt-head ‘are pretty pure — it’s like a state of mind,’ Judge said.
