The Substitute: A substitute teacher surprises students with the chance to win money in this fun new unscripted series (4:30 p.m. MTV). 

Bachelor Pad: The four remaining couples go to Las Vegas in the two part season finale of the unscripted series (8 and 9 p.m. ABC). 

Kate Plus 8: The Gosselins say goodbye to their fans and reminisce in the series finale (9 p.m. TLC).

Martha's Back to School Party: Martha and Friends go back to school in this new animated adventure (9:30 a.m. Hallmark). 

CNN Tea Party Republican Debate: Wolf Blitzer moderates (5, 8 and 11 p.m. CNN). 

Kissinger: This film documents the life of Henry Kissinger, who served as secretary of state under Presidents Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford and played a key role in U.S. foreign policy in the 1970s (5 and 8 p.m. National Geographic). 

Gaga by Gaultier: In this new special, platinum-selling pop star and eccentric fashion icon Lady Gaga sits down with legendary designer Jean Paul Gaultier in Paris (8 p.m. KTLA). 

The 2011 Miss Universe Pageant: Natalie Morales and Andy Cohen host this year's event from Brazil (9 p.m. NBC). 

Animal Planet Investigates: My First Kill: More than half of the violent offenders incarcerated in the U.S. are believed to have gotten their start abusing animals. In this new special, Dr. Randall Lockwood, a forensic scientist, revisits the cases of several notorious killers to explore the connection between cruelty to animals and violence against humans (10 p.m. Animal Planet).

Football: The New England Patriots visit the Miami Dolphins (4 p.m. ESPN); the Oakland Raiders visit the Denver Broncos (7:15 p.m. ESPN).
