Roseanne's Nuts
IT'S LIKE SHE NEVER LEFT: Roseanne Barr is invited to her hometown, Salt Lake City, for the Utah Pride festival parade in an episode of the unscripted series “Roseanne's Nuts” at 10 p.m. on Lifetime.

SERIES

Friends With Benefits: In this new episode, Sara (Danneel Ackles) misses hearing compliments on her appearance when she dates a blind man, while Ben (Ryan Hansen) has a problem with his current girlfriend's habit of wearing a wide-brimmed hat (8 p.m. NBC). A second new episode follows at 8:30 p.m.

Tanked: In this new episode, Wayde and Brett complete the tricky installation of a 57,000-gallon tank at a Dallas megachurch and a newly engaged young woman hires the guys to design a keg tank — with a working tap — for her fiance's “man cave” and a shark tank for a lawyer (9 p.m. Animal Planet).

Man, Woman, Wild: Myke and Ruth Hawke — he's a former Special Forces survival expert, she's a TV journalist — are stranded in Utah when their raft overturns in the waters of Colorado River in the season premiere of this unscripted survival series (9 p.m. Discovery).

Heat Seekers: Aaron and Roger sample an extra-spicy variation on the Philly cheese steak called the Heater and visit the famous Italian Market for some Sicilian dishes that pack a punch in this new episode of the hot-hot-hot foods series (10 p.m. Food).

MOVIES

Goodbye, Mr. Chips: Robert Donat's indelible performance as the shy British schoolteacher who guides many students to adulthood snagged a 1939 Academy Award for best actor over competition that included Clark Gable's Rhett Butler. Greer Garson also stars (3 p.m. TCM).

SPORTS

U.S. Open Tennis: Men's Second Round and Women's Third Round (10 a.m. and 4 p.m. ESPN2).
