Good Eats: Right on Q: The Q in the title of this new special is short for BBQ, and host Alton Brown takes viewers on a journey through the wonderful world of a barbecue favorite: homemade smoked pork (8 p.m. Food).
When Fish Attack 2: The last new special of Shark Week 2011 offers more footage of marine animals — not all of them sharks — striking back at humans. They include a blue marlin that turns the tables on a fisherman and a great white that breaks into a shark cage holding two divers, a whale that smashes a sailboat and an elephant seal that plays a little too rough with a pair of underwater cameramen (9 p.m. Discovery).
Who Is Simon Miller? When geologist Simon Miller (Loren Dean) goes missing, his wife (Robyn Lively) and kids (Skylar Day, Drew Koles) search his office for clues and find a bunch of passports with different aliases in this new TV mystery. Christine Baranski also stars (8 p.m. NBC).
