About (Late) Last Night: Why Julianne Moore loves KFC [Video]
While it's doubtful that Julianne Moore eats much McDonald's, that doesn't mean she doesn't have an opinion when it comes to fast food. On Tuesday's "Late Show," Moore opened up to host David Letterman about her family's various culinary preferences.
"Everybody in family likes something different. My daughter likes Subway. She likes a provolone and salami sandwich. My son likes to ring the bell. You know what that is, right?"
"Oh, yeah," Letterman replied. "Thinkin' outside the bun, my friend."
"My husband likes Wendy's for the general quality of the place," said Moore, prompting a hearty chuckle from Letterman.
"He's being sarcastic, right?" he asked. "I've never had a Wendy's."
Moore's loyalties lie elsewhere. "I like chicken, so I like KFC. That's right, blow it up," she said, fist-bumping with Letterman in a sign of their deep-fried solidarity.
"I also have this kind of nostalgic feeling about KFC because on the weekends when everybody was tired my dad would sometimes just say hey, [forget about it] let's get a bucket."
Letterman responded with an off-color joke: "Now, that was before finger-lickin' good?" Gross, Dave.
In any case, something tells me Moore has a whole lot of free chicken coming her way soon.
