KIDDING AROUND:
In the new series “I Kid With Brad Garrett,” the larger than life comedian puts kids on the spot by confronting them with odd questions and situations at 8 and 8:30 p.m. on TLC.

SERIES

Cupcake Wars: In this new episode bakers prepare space-themed cupcakes to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the first American in space — Alan Shepard on May 5, 1961 — and the episode concludes with the winner of the competition serving their creations at a celebration at Griffith Observatory (8 p.m. Food).

The Voice: The four remaining contestants perform in this new episode (9 p.m. NBC).

Frontline: In this new episode, A.C. Thompson investigates cases where people may have been wrongly convicted based on flawed medical evident. Also, Martin Smith looks into for-profit colleges recruiting veterans, and Atul Gawande reports on a doctor in New Jersey who seeks out the toughest cases in an effort to bring medical costs down (9 p.m. KOCE).

Memphis Beat: A distraught dad seeks Dwight’s (Jason Lee) help when his daughter goes missing. Alfre Woodard and Sam Hennings also star (9 p.m. TNT).

POV: In the documentary “My Perestroika” five classmates recall the challenges, dreams and disappointments of growing up behind the Iron Curtain (10 p.m. KOCE).

Hawthorne: Renata (Marc Anthony) asks Christina (Jada Pinkett Smith) for help with his ailing mother (Miriam Colon) in this new episode (10 p.m. TNT).
