ROYALTY, EH? “South Park” skewers the royal wedding with a Canadian parody in a new episode of the animated series on Comedy Central at 10 p.m.


The Middle: After mistakenly asking the wrong girl to the prom, Axl (Charlie McDermott) wants to get out of it by simply standing her up, but Frankie and Mike (Patricia Heaton, Neil Flynn) insist he either keep the date or break it in person (8 p.m. ABC). 

American Idol:  Lady Gaga mentors the finalists who will perform the songs of Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller (8 p.m. Fox). 

Better With You: When Mia (JoAnna Garcia Swisher) goes into labor, she and Casey (Jake Lacy) change their minds about waiting to get married until after the birth (8:30 p.m. ABC). 

Criminal Minds: When bodies are found buried in the ocean floor Morgan’s (Shemar Moore) aunt (Denise Dowse) thinks her daughter may be one of the victims in this new episode (9 p.m. CBS). 

Frontline:  The new episode “Kill/Capture” documents targeted killing by the U.S. military (9 p.m. KVCR). 

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit:  Rita Wilson guest stars in this new episode as the mother of a teenage boy who is found sleeping naked in a strange young woman’s apartment in this new episode (10 p.m. NBC). 


Whip It:  A rebellious teen (Ellen Page) finds purpose and liberation in the ranks of a roller-derby team in this 2009 comedy directed by co-star Drew Barrymore. Kristen Wiig, Juliette Lewis, Daniel Stern and Jimmy Fallon also star (6:05 p.m. Cinemax). 


Baseball: The Dodgers visit the Pittsburgh Pirates (4 p.m. FS Prime); the St. Louis Cardinals visit the Chicago Cubs (5 p.m. ESPN); the Chicago White Sox visit the Angels (7 p.m. FSN and WGN America). 

Basketball: NBA playoffs: The Boston Celtics visit the Miami Heat (4 p.m. TNT); the Memphis Grizzlies visit the Oklahoma City Thunder (6:30 p.m. TNT). 

NHL Hockey: NHL playoffs (4 p.m. VS). 

MLS Soccer: The Galaxy visit the Philadelphia Union (4:30 p.m. FSN).
