HIDDEN CAMERA: House (Hugh Laurie) makes a decision that could change everything in the season finale of “House” at 8 p.m. on Fox. 

SERIES

Taboo: This new episode profiles couples who haven't let the fact that one of them is behind bars get in the way of romance (7 and 10 p.m. National Geographic). 

The Event: An epic power struggle at the White House pits Martinez and Peel (Blair Underwood, Roger Bart) against Jarvis and Sophia (Bill Smitrovich, Laura Innes) in the season finale (9 p.m. NBC). 

The Bachelorette: Dental student Ashley Hebert, the second runner-up from the most recent season of “The Bachelor,” is in the driver's seat for this edition of its sister show (9 p.m. ABC). 

The Chicago Code: Things come to a head in the season finale, as Jarek and Teresa (Jason Clarke, Jennifer Beals) put everything on the line in their case against Gibbons (Delroy Lindo). Adam Arkin also stars in the season finale (9 p.m. Fox). 

Make It or Break It: The stakes are high as the girls of the Rock arrive in Rio in the season finale (9 p.m. ABC Family). 

American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior: The guys from Orange County Choppers are in Alaska to meet with the Time Bandit's Hillstrand brothers from Deadliest Catch (9 p.m. Discovery).

Clash of the Commercials: U.S.A. vs. the World: Heidi Klum and John Lehr host this new special in which viewers vote on their favorite commercials (10 p.m. CBS). 

MOVIES

Too Big to Fail: William Hurt stars in this retelling of the behind-the-scenes drama of the 2008 economic meltdown. Paul Giamatti, Ed Asner, Topher Grace, James Woods and Cynthia Nixon also star in this new TV docudrama (9 p.m. HBO). 

SPORTS

Baseball: The Dodgers visit the Houston Astros (5 p.m. KCAL); the Oakland Athletics visit the Angels (7 p.m. MyNet). 

Hockey: NHL playoffs: The Tampa Bay Lightning visit the Boston Bruins (5 p.m. VS). 

Basketball: NBA playoffs: The Dallas Mavericks visit the Oklahoma City Thunder (6 p.m. ESPN).
