Fall TV season: Watch a sneak preview of 'Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea' [Video]

May 16, 2011 |  2:31 pm

NBC unveiled its fall schedule Monday at its upfronts presentation in New York, and among the new shows announced was "Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea."

Inspired by talk-show host Chelsea Handler's bestselling book, the new comedy centers on roguish bartender Chelsea, played by Laura Prepon ("That '70s Show"). She is accompanied by an ensemble that includes Jo Koy ("Chelsea Lately"), Angel Laketa Moore ("ER") and Mark Povinelli ("Water for Elephants").

Handler herself has a recurring part as Chelsea's married sister, Sloan, and serves as executive producer along with Tom Werner ("That '70s Show"), Mike Clements ("The Life & Times of Tim") and Tom Brunelle ("Chelsea Lately").
