SUNDAY
Yee to the haw, y’all, it’s “The 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards.” Reba McEntire and Blake Shelton host from Las Vegas; slated performers include Toby Keith, Keith Urban, Miranda Lambert, Taylor Swift and Brad Paisley. (CBS, 8 p.m.)
The controversial new eight-part miniseries “The Kennedys” — with Greg Kinnear as JFK and Katie Holmes as Jackie — mixes politics, power and passion. To which Jeremy Irons adds a dash of poison as Pope Alexander VI, paterfamilias of “The Borgias,” in a sexy new historical drama. (Reelz, 5 and 8 p.m.; Showtime, 9 p.m.)
MONDAY
The madness that is March Madness concludes – in April — with college basketball’s “NCAA Tournament Final,” while the mania that is Wrestlemania lingers on at the “WWE 2011 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.” (CBS, 6 p.m.; USA, 8 p.m.)
TUESDAY
We’ve heard of a Bronx cheer — insert “raspberry” sound effect here — but “Jersey Cheer”? Two, four, six, eight, these cheerleaders from the Garden State would surely appreciate you catching them in this new docu-series. (Lifetime, 10 and 10:30 p.m.)
WEDNESDAY
No job? No problem. Try a workplace comedy instead. A high-tech security firm is the setting for the Christian Slater sitcom “Breaking In,” and recent college grads play the telemarketing game in “Workaholics.” (Fox, 9:30 p.m.; Comedy Central, 10:30 p.m.)
THURSDAY
“Apocalypse 2012” is less than a year away. Are you ready? Some folks are, and you’ll meet a few of those survivalist types in this new special. They might not seem so crazy once the meteorites start falling and the volcanoes explode. (6, 7, 9 and 10 p.m. CNBC)
FRIDAY
Earn your stripes with “Lost Land of the Tiger,” a trek to the Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan, and “Tiger Man of Africa: The Mating Game,” a visit to an unusual nature preserve in South Africa. They’re grrreat! (National Geographic, 6 and 9 p.m.; 7 and 10 p.m.)
SATURDAY
Gruff but lovable Colin Quinn — former “SNL” cast member and host of Comedy Central’s “Tough Crowd” — seeks the hysterical in the historical in his Jerry Seinfeld-directed one-man Broadway show “Colin Quinn Long Story Short.” (HBO, 10 p.m.)
