With Paul Reiser's show already canceled by NBC, what will he talk about on Leno tonight?
After airing only two episodes, NBC yanked "The Paul Resier Show" on Friday, replacing the series, which scored the network's lowest-rated in-season comedy debut ever, with reruns of "The Office." "Well that was fast!!" Reiser tweeted shortly after the announcement was made. "Apparently networks like big numbers quickly. who knew?"
But Reiser was still slated to appear on "The Tonight Show" on Monday. Without a show to promote, we wonder what he'll talk about. Could this be an opportunity for him to ignite a campaign to bring the show back? On Twitter he hinted that this might be the case: "To the millions of people who would have loved this show but didn't get a chance to hear about it, hopefully we will live on elsewhere," he said. And then: "By the way -- feel free to start a groundswell movement I'll back you up."
Because only 2.5 million people watched the second (and final) episode, we don't really see that happening. At least he's giving Leno some good material for his opening monologue.

It was a bit of a rehash of Curb Your Enthusiasm only as a family guy. I saw the second show and it wasn't funny at all.

I am part of the millions of people who DID hear about it - and didn't watch it.

Paul was awesome on "Mad About You" as well as his earlier show "My Two Dads". I didn't care for the "reality" theme of his new show but I'd LOVE to see him on a new sitcom!
