Glenn Beck ending Fox News show later this year
Glenn Beck will "transition off of his daily program" later this year, Beck and Fox News announced on Wednesday. The statement did not specify an end date for the show, but Beck's contract is up in December.
In a joint news release, Fox News and Mercury Radio Arts, Beck's production company, said that they will "work together to develop and produce a variety of television projects for air on the Fox News Channel as well as content for other platforms including Fox News' digital properties." The release did not state what those programs will be.
Beck has been thinking about leaving Fox for a while and has considered taking over a cable channel or expanding his subscription video service online.
"Glenn Beck is a powerful communicator, a creative entrepreneur and a true success by anybody's standards," said Roger Ailes, Chairman and chief executive of Fox News, in the statement. "I look forward to continuing to work with him."
"I truly believe that America owes a lot to Roger Ailes and Fox News," said Beck. "I cannot repay Roger for the lessons I've learned and will continue to learn from him and I look forward to starting this new phase of our partnership."

We scream for transparency and he brings it and then the truth seems to be just to scary for folks and they scream
to get rid of him. I say even though at time he may have been a little much, he was on target, like it or not.
The Truth Hurts, hmmmm

The truth often hurts, some of us can take it and prepare ourselves for it, some cannot. Gleen Beck tellls the truth and panics those who know they been found out. But, as so often happens, the courage of the network falters and gives in to the George Soro's of this world. As of seen from others, when Beck goes, I'll go. CNN, as much as it hurts me will have a new subscriber. Shame on the cowards who will not stand up for the truth.

I truly am sorry to hear that Glenn Beck's show will be replaced. He presents knowledge that we should know in an interesting format - Information that I would have no idea where to look; nor the time to look for it - Information to help keep us safe and alert. Since I don't get in at 5 p.m. I had to sit up very late at night in order to get to see the rebroadcast of the Glenn Beck show. This fine young man will be missed.
People have targeted his program- Looks like this will be one of President Obama's successes in taking a conservative and truthful presentation of issues off the air. Let's hope this doesn't happen to other talk show hosts who present us with the truth. It is important that the American people hear both sides of issues; not just what the liberal left want us to hear.
Best Wishes to Glenn Beck.
Sincerely,
J. Atkins

When I was a kid I lived in Utah, and the Boy Scouts was taken over by Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (FLDS Church). This, so called religion, practices underage polygamy, they send the boys off on missions to divide the underage sisters among the dirty old men of the clan. Now when these underage girls get pregnant, these same dirty old men, send them to the state to get their welfare checks . You should see some of the palace homes that are paid with welfare checks (not on just one of course). By the way this is the newest religion that was made right here in United States of America, I guess their also in AZ, CA, NM, TX, NV, CO, OK.
Glenn Beck’s comments on Japan as being a sign from GOD is trash talk, kicking them when they are down, would he say the same if a terrible thing happened to himself or his family? When someone hides behind religion to do or say something we know is wrong we should stand up and point it out (right the Wrong).
Someone should question Glenn Beck if this was a sign from GOD or just stuff that happens.

The polygamist branch of Mormonism is awful in my opinion. Because they don’t take on women who are adult and have choices, they prey on children who then grow up knowing no other way. It’s child abuse, plain and simple to me.
I agree with your comments regarding Beck.

Malicious Melissa......When people are fired they leave their place of employment and avoid crossing paths with their former employer ever again.
Beck, on the other hand, is still employed with FOX and will remain employed by FOX as an investigative journalist.
I was not aware that the LA Times has a TMZ impersonator who actually considers herself a real journalist.

Glenn Back was like the "Chicken Littles” always saying that the “Sky is Falling”, like the same ones that were the “Chicken Hawks”, big talk no courage. The United States, favors creativity wherever it can be found. We're apostles of prosperity and defenders of the free exchange of ideas and when more people in more countries are free to rise, to invent, to communicate, to dissent, it's not the doom of United States leadership, its the triumph of the American way. Generations have worked hard and sacrificed much for the country to reach this point (individuals and our unions!), and with further hard work and sacrifice (along with our relentless self-doubt) the United States will rise again, we do not tire and we are coming back, no matter what the “Chicken Littles” keep saying about our nation. Never Bet Against the United States!

I believe Glenn Beck was made for this time in our country. We need more people like you. You had the courage to "call it the way it is!" and to speak the truth and share it with all of us. What will we do without you!! Many thanks, Glenn. May you have great success wherever you go and whatever is next. We hope to see you often in the next phase of your life. We need you!

I just want to say that I wish Glenn the best of luck in whatever he decides to do. I will miss him very much. He definatly has God on his side. I have no idea where i'm going to find out all the good stuff now. But in this home he will be missed. May God bless you Glenn and your family and may he follow you through all your endeavors. We love you. Many hugs. Chuck, Sarah and Dee. And Goliath too.
