Supernatural: Dean (Jensen Ackles) discovers the journal of Samuel Colt (Sam Hennings) in the Campbell library while seeking a way to protect Eve, so he asks Castiel (Misha Collins) to send him and Sam (Jared Padalecki) back in time to meet the man (9 p.m. KTLA).

Royal Wedding of a Lifetime: This new episode focuses on the love story behind the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton (9 p.m. Lifetime). The series finale, which imagines the royal couple’s life after their wedding, follows at 10.

20/20: Barbara Walters interviews Elton John and David Furnish in this new episode (10 p.m. ABC).

Girls’ Night Out: Superstar Women of Country: The honorees in this new awards show include the Judds, Martina McBride, Loretta Lynn, Miranda Lambert, Jennifer Nettles, Reba McEntire and Carrie Underwood. Stella Dallas: Director King Vidor’s 1937 drama casts Barbara Stanwyck in the title role of a rough-around-the-edges woman who marries above her station, Stella is left by her husband (John Boles), making her more determined to give her child everything possible (7 p.m. TCM).
