About (Late) Last Night: Will Ferrell has royal wedding fever [Video]
If you've had just enough of the blanket coverage of the upcoming royal wedding, it appears you're in good company. On Tuesday night's "Late Show," Will Ferrell took to the stage at the Ed Sullivan Theater wearing a morning jacket and top hat.
"I am swept up with royal wedding fever," he told David Letterman. "I mean I can't get enough of it -- the coverage, the pageantry. I'm so excited. Kate and Willie are very good friends."
Despite his excitement, Ferrell admitted that he would not be making it to London for the big event. The reason? "That pesky no-fly list." Instead, Ferrell is hosting -- or perhaps just pretending to host -- a viewing party Friday, kicking off at 4 a.m., where he'll be serving bangers and mash.
"It's gonna be an amazing time," Ferrell promised. He then gave the royal couple his greeting -- a graceful bow, followed by a big, wet, sloppy kiss.
Let's hope Prince William doesn't follow his lead.
