OWN gives Shania Twain's series a premiere date

The OWN network continues to expand its original program offerings with the May premiere of “Why Not? with Shania Twain.”

The docu-series documents the life of the country music star as she opens up about the breakdown of her 14-year marriage to Robert "Mutt" Lange and begins a journey of self-discovery.

“Why Not? with Shania Twain” will premiere May 8.

The hourlong debut will air at 11 p.m. ET, immediately after "The Judds" finale.
