California's Water: This installment of the Huell Howser-hosted series examines efforts to preserve and protect our fair state's natural waterways (7:30 p.m. KCET). 

Dancing With the Stars: A new batch of celebrities competes on the season premiere of the hit reality series (8 p.m. ABC). 

Pretty Little Liars: The teen-themed drama offers its season finale (8 p.m. ABC Family). 

The Chicago Code: Adam Arkin guest stars as an FBI agent in this new episode of the Windy City-set cop drama (9 p.m. Fox). 

Skins: The American edition of the controversial teen drama ends its freshman season (10 p.m. MTV). 


Triangle: Remembering the Fire: This new documentary revisits the 1911 conflagration in a New York City factory that killed scores of workers, leading to new and improved workplace safety regulations (9 p.m. HBO). 

Rip the Runway 2011: Designers with a passion for fashion put their collections on display at this annual event in New York City featuring special appearances by Lady Gaga and Kimora Lee Simmons (10 p.m. BET). 

Diana: Queen of Hearts: This special revisits the life and tragic death of the so-called people's princess (10 p.m. TV Guide). 


Exhibition baseball: The Red Sox face the Phillies (10 a.m. ESPN); the Angels host the Cubs (1 p.m. FSN, MLB); and the Dodgers welcome the Athletics (1:05 p.m. FS Prime). 

College basketball: The NIT Tournament continues with second-round action (4 and 6 p.m. ESPN; 8:30 p.m. ESPN2). 

Hockey: The Penguins play the Red Wings (4:30 p.m. VS) and the Kings meet the Flames (7:30 p.m. FSN).
