Let’s hope producers of “Dancing With the Stars” have Chris Brown-proofed the stage in preparation for Tuesday’s episode. The day has finally come when sequins meets controversy!

The embattled singer, who found himself back in the headlines after an outburst on ABC’s “Good Morning America” last week, is scheduled to perform Tuesday on the hit dance competition show. And viewers, if they don’t switch channels, will surely be watching his every move.

Of course, those who opt not to watch might miss the makings of a viral video or a potential contender for ‘America’s Funniest Home Videos’ if host Tom Bergeron can’t avoid making a quip about Brown’s flare-up. The host, who’s not shy with the sarcasm, told Ryan Seacrest on his morning radio show Monday that it would be in the producers’ best interest to forgo an on-air interview because his “natural tendency would be to say something. So don’t put me in a position where you’re asking me not to say something, because I won’t really do that.”

Brown, though, seems to be going in with the intent of moving on. On Monday he tweeted, ‘Big day tomorrow!!!’ -- a reference we can only assume points to his upcoming performance on the series.

In any case, the stars of ‘DWTS’ are probably thrilled because Brown’s appearance is sure to draw attention away from the couple that gets ousted.

ShowTrackers, do you think Brown’s appearance merits all this attention? Will you be watching Tuesday’s episode?
