Will Lady Gaga meat another wardrobe malfunction at Sunday’s Grammys on CBS?

Of course the producers of CBS’ Grammy telecast on Sunday want to pimp the show and get you to tune in. But they promise, swear up and down, vow on their ancestors’ spirits that Lady Gaga’s get-up is going to be shut-up crazy.

‘All I can say is, nobody will quite believe it when they see it,’ co-executive producer Ken Ehrlich just wrote Showtracker in an e-mail.

Lady Gaga, you may have noticed, has a way with sartorial entrances at awards shows. Her ‘meat dress’ at last year’s MTV Video Music Awards has earned a spot on the highlight reel of celebrity outrageousness. In fact, the singer has raised such a high bar for herself that it might be difficult to turn heads Sunday unless she shows up wearing nothing at all.

Gaga aside, however, Ehrlich promises that the show should be fairly family-friendly by Grammy standards. Unlike in years past, when censors had to snap to attention dozens of times during a single rap number, ‘I don’t think the censor button (which by the way is just a drop-out on delay) will be used much at all,’ Ehrlich wrote.

One don’t-miss highlight according to the veteran Grammy producer: a three-song medley featuring hitmakers Bruno Mars and B.o.B. along with newcomer Janelle Monae, which the trio rehearsed Friday afternoon. ‘It is going to be the surprise number of the show, as I hoped it would be from the beginning,’ Ehrlich said.
