'OUR AMERICA WITH LISA LING'

SUNDAY

Please allow him to reintroduce himself: The Rolling Stones' Mick Jagger joins Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Eminem, Cee Lo Green, Gwyneth Paltrow, Usher, Willow Smith, Drake, Rhianna, Miranda Lambert and Arcade Fire on the roll of scheduled performers at “The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards.” (CBS, 8 p.m.) 

The Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream… and it didn't die with him. Meet young people who are putting the slain civil rights leader's words into action for the betterment of their own communities on “Nick News Special Edition.” (Nickelodeon, 9 p.m.) 

MONDAY

“Cash Cab” returns, and rolls out a spin-off, “Cash Cab Chicago,” and an IBM computer challenges past champions on “Jeopardy!” Coming soon: The cab and the computer join forces to enslave humanity. (Discovery, 6 and 6:30 p.m.; ABC, 7 p.m.)

TUESDAY

That couch on “The View” getting ever smaller in her rearview mirror, the intrepid Lisa Ling (above, right) traverses our nation's highways, byways and back roads in search of even hotter topics in the new series “Our America With Lisa Ling.” (OWN, 10 p.m.) 

WEDNESDAY

Used to be, you got the boot and they put you up in a nice hotel for the duration. Now you must outwit, outplay or outlast the next exile one-on-one for a shot at returning to the game. That's the twist on the debut of “Survivor: Redemption Island.” (CBS, 8 p.m.)

THURSDAY

Almost a decade in, the war in Afghanistan rages on. Journalist Ben Anderson embeds with U.S. Marines, recording their efforts to push the Taliban out of a strategically important region, in the new documentary “The Battle for Marjah.” (HBO, 9 p.m.) 

FRIDAY

Are you ready for some basketball? Lots of basketball? They'll be hooping it up at Staples Center when the NBA's All-Star Weekend tips off with the “All-Star Celebrity Game” and the “Rookie Challenge & Youth Jam.” (ESPN, 4 p.m.; TNT, 6 p.m.)
