Charlie Sheen's publicist 'respectfully' resigns after latest round of actor's media outbursts
Veteran Hollywood publicist Stan Rosenfield, who represented Charlie Sheen through the actor's rehab attempts and breakup with his employers on the hit sitcom "Two and a Half Men," abruptly resigned on Monday.
"I have worked with Charlie Sheen for a long time and I care about him very much," Rosenfield wrote in a brief statement. "However, at this time, I'm unable to work effectively as his publicist and have respectfully resigned." In a follow-up e-mail, Rosenfield said he had represented Sheen for at least seven years.
The move came on the same day that Sheen turned up in another round of interviews on ABC, NBC, TMZ and elsewhere, attacking everyone from CBS to his father, former "The West Wing" star Martin Sheen. Since CBS and Warner Bros. decided last week to halt production on "Two and a Half Men" after Sheen attacked his boss, Chuck Lorre, the actor has gone on a manic round of media interviews. It is unclear what role, if any, Rosenfield played in setting up those interviews.
But the public relations man was still working on the Sheen account Monday morning, when he dispelled an e-mail hoax that said Sheen had retired from acting.

What child custody rights does he have? He should NOT have any unsupervised visitation. Will the state of California step in and take action on this?
He is on record in a recent T.V. interview saying he is not ashamed for his kids to know of his binges. He in essence said he thought it was a positive thing for them to know about it. For then they would know that their dad has all the answers.
Obviously, he needs to face that he has a problem. And then do something about it. He is running out of time, I am afraid.

The Sheen family has a problem. Chucky is bi polar and is suffering from substance abuse, the physical affects will continue to increase as his mental deterioation continues. They need to bring Chucky back to real life and the sooner it's dealt with the better.
Life is tough, it's even tougher if your stupid....JW

Charlie should start his on show where he get's in the ring every week with a new female boxer. The women could compete to see which one can put him in a coma the fastest. The winner would recieve all the ad revenue less medical expenses at the end of each season, wow, now I feel like as big of a genius as Charlie

Sorry to hear so many people on the show are now out of work because of Charlie's selfish actions. So many people seem to think that Charlie isn't hurting anyone but himself, look a bit wider and you'll see it's quite a bit.
I hope Charlie can get some help because he's in a dark place right now.
Of course, I could give a rats @$$ about the show...tried watching it once or twice, wasn't impressed and don't understand why its so popular.
I hope all the crew and rest of the cast are fast at finding other work and moving beyond this sunken ship.

Thanks for the implosion Charlie. Much better media than that show you WERE on. Love the parenting skills. You should follow-up on your "Tell All" with a "Best Daddy In The World" novella. Thank God for Emilio.

Hey, Drudge, you call it news? You are a moron.

I like Charlie, and it is his business (sadly) if he wants to die young from drug abuse. That is not my choice, or his employer's choice, to make for him.

If Charlie Sheen's behavior is not an endorsement for drug testing your teens, I don't know what is. This is not cool. Being an alcoholic, drug induced, Hollywood power player with porn stars is not the way to go through life. It's setting a terrible example to young men everywhere. This is why parents need to step up and drug test their children to keep them clean. This didn't start overnight with stardom. Charlie probably has been using for years. Myteensavers has seen this type of behavior. It's disturbing! The solution is at myteensavers.

I support Charlie. Never have I watched a more true sitcom that reflects conflicts in an actors actual life. Charlie puts his soul into his acting as well as the cast. Sorry Charlie, but I do feel that you have to sit back and take care of the body and the mind. Abuse and overindulgence leads to a fall that you may not be able to recover from. So take some time forget the jerks that say negative things but really look into the mirror. The truth is hurtful and false statements and media forget their not worth your time. My family loves Two and Half Men. Your are an actual blazing star be careful with your health you are only human.

Here is an idea for a new REAL, LIVE reality show...
Put charlie sheen, mel gibson & lindsey lohan in one house... "Two & a half losers"
Lower case use on the names is intentional

Charlie has serious mental health issues . WE need to notice that he's been TRYING to live the same life as his CHARACTER on the show ....
The producers need to bring in someone else and try to revive the show ... prove to Charlie that NO ONE is indispensable ....

Not knowing of any contract particulars prohibiting that he
not drink and party; if he is prepared and ready to perform
his part under the contract, Mr. Sheen has an actionable
position. Additional damages for side issues may be pending
for statements, and opinions made by Mr. Sheen and CBS.
CBS will lose it's best cash cow, if logic and reason do not prevail.
Millions are at stake - will they all end up giving it up to ...
... the lawyers?
Hey CBS! ...here's an idea:
Give Mr. Sheen a kickass bonus (for the inconvenience)
and get back on track fulfilling this season's contractual
obligations. Put the show out where it is guaranteed
to be a big earner! You could even write jokes into the
script about it...
...or just give it all away to litigation.
What do 'big boys' do, in this case?

although it is impossible to know for sure, charlie sheen looked to me to be "under the influence" of something during his interviews...hopefully he will soon find the help needed to get his life straightened out.

Stoned little chimp, throwing feces and raging in his self made cage. You can free yourself at any time Charlie, just evolve but be careful climbing over your ego, you could fall to your death from those heights.

Miller, you don't know anything! two and a half men has madee so much money because of Charlie and he's right to be doing what he's doing. The show probably wouldn't make it without him. he deserves atlast three million a show.

Listen to all you sad people.... looking in and pointing.
Shame onyou all. Your actions expose your miserable existence.
Why do you all care so much about someone you have never met?
Are you delusional? Do you fantasize?
Are you cattle?
Who knows.
All I know is that this lowest common denominator behaviour disgusts me.
Luck there isnt a fly on your own wall to share with us all your shortcomings.
YOU ALL KNOW NOTHING.
YOU ARE ALL A PRODUCT OF A PLASTIC THROW AWAY SOCIETY
Get me out of here.
