Charlie Sheen's publicist 'respectfully' resigns after latest round of actor's media outbursts
Veteran Hollywood publicist Stan Rosenfield, who represented Charlie Sheen through the actor's rehab attempts and breakup with his employers on the hit sitcom "Two and a Half Men," abruptly resigned on Monday.
"I have worked with Charlie Sheen for a long time and I care about him very much," Rosenfield wrote in a brief statement. "However, at this time, I'm unable to work effectively as his publicist and have respectfully resigned." In a follow-up e-mail, Rosenfield said he had represented Sheen for at least seven years.
The move came on the same day that Sheen turned up in another round of interviews on ABC, NBC, TMZ and elsewhere, attacking everyone from CBS to his father, former "The West Wing" star Martin Sheen. Since CBS and Warner Bros. decided last week to halt production on "Two and a Half Men" after Sheen attacked his boss, Chuck Lorre, the actor has gone on a manic round of media interviews. It is unclear what role, if any, Rosenfield played in setting up those interviews.
But the public relations man was still working on the Sheen account Monday morning, when he dispelled an e-mail hoax that said Sheen had retired from acting.

Hey Charlie if you read this please leave me a million or two in your will.
Charlie Sheen is nothing but a lowlife junkie, no better than the dope head sleeping in the ally. Charlie blames everybody but himself. If he doesn't wake up soon he'll be dead, Belushi style. Sheen had everything handed to him on a silver platter and he's destroying it all.

All these commentors saying "Go Charlie Go" and considering him some kind of hero need to view the interviews that Sheen did on TV. He believes he is better than you, smarter than you, more gifted than you, superior in every way to you, and if you don't like it, "go back to your little house" and your "ugly wife". His words, not mine.
Still your hero guys?
He likes to beat up on women, spend time with prostitutes instead of his kids--with his kids down the hall, and then get on TV and plug how great he is as he addles on, shifts in his chair and declares "WINNING" in between his rants.
Yep, he is right up there with Washington, Lincoln, Neil Armstrong, etc. on the heroes list.

It appears some of you would love to pat Charlie on the back for his antics, but you'll need to wait until Charlie finishes patting himself on the back.
This guy is wild-eyed crazy. Well, not surprised with any of the hollywood types nowadays. What a bunch of weirdos...

Charlie is obviously a nutjob. He even thinks 9/11 was"an inside job". Yeah, like you could get 5000 people that it would take to pull off something of that magnitude to keep their mouths shut!!
IDIOTS!

It's a lucky thing Charlie knows how to handle social use of crack cocaine or he might be in real trouble.

The entire sheen family is a bunch of no-talent prima donnas. The only people who watch network sitcoms are brain dead liberal morons.

I see a lot of media interest in this story and I sort of can see where they are getting most of the fuel, but what evidence do we have that anything reported in the media is accurate?
The guy may be what they say that he is, but what real evidence is there that the guy is half as bad as the media is telling us he is, You see everyone saying that the guy is going to self destruct that he is just in such a terrible situation that the guy is really having such a bad bad time.
I think this is more media blow back than anything else.

Mr. Sheen is one of the Hollyweird Special People - you know the kind - the kind that think they are above the Law, above the little people, they are Special - and therefore should be treated different then everyone else.
Let me tell you Mr. Sheen - - - you put your pants on one leg at a time just like the rest of us.
Maybe you need to fall a little - to remember - you are not that special - it's the public that put you where you are and it's the public that can take you down...

Without Charlie Sheen the show would be One and a half man and who wants to see that??? I know I don't. Charlie I hope you win the 320 million and start your own show!!

I love this show; it's funny. NOT Sheen. It's the characters other than Sheen that make it funny, the writers write funny stuff for the cast. Sheen can go away.

Sad to watch someone self destruct. Hollywood is hard on human beings.

Poor Charlie is a self-medicating, bipolar addict. He's in a hypomanic phase now. He'll crash and burn pretty soon.

You are watching someone self-destruct right before your eyes. Amazing stuff.

His mind seems pretty sharp to me. He refuses to be a phony like everyone else so of course he is portrayed as crazy.

Charlie is washed up and needs to be put away for sure. Something will have to happen whether Charlie kills someone or does harm to himself to be put away. I know that things are mighty bad in this world and in the US politically and all but if we keep concentrating on the evils of government every single day like Alex Jones we would all go nuts. Life is bad enough as is. Alex Jones is making a fortune off of this so take that into consideration folks.
