Skeet Ulrich and Megan Boone, who star in NBC's "Law & Order: Los Angeles," are leaving the series, insiders said.

No official reason was given for the departure of the performers. NBC and the show's producers declined comment.

Ulrich, who plays a police officer on the series, was the first performer cast for the West Coast version of the landmark New York-based franchise. Boone plays an assistant district attorney.

What a mistake to fire Skeet Ulrich from the show, he was the only reason I watch it. The scripts were not great, did not see enough of Skeet on the show, but that was Dick Wolfs fault. I finally had something to look forward to on TV, most of what is on is garbage. I guess I will be going back to reading more, instead of having a little fantasy time in front of the tube. I hope Mr. Ulrich is picked up for another series, I think the public on the whole enjoys his acting abilities from drama to comedy.

That's a shame, I was looking forward to watching Skeet again.
I am sure the awards and football knocked them out, because they were on instead of LA Law.

Skeet is the only reason I watched the show. Why would NBC want to lose him? I will not watch it anymore after he is gone

Skeet Ulrich is the best thing ever on LOL once he leaves I will no longer be watching. What a waist.

It's ashame Skeet was killed off; his character was realistic. I was glad to see him again after Jerico ended.

NBC should have a comment on why Skeet and Megan left L&O:LA It is not the same show with out these 2.
