Bravo's 'Millionaire Matchmaker' woos most viewers ever in season finale
Bravo's "Millionaire Matchmaker" wrapped its fourth season Tuesday with its highest-rated episode ever.
Dating consultant Patti Stanger's reality series averaged 2.2 million total viewers, according to the Nielsen Co. That's a 63% increase compared with the Season 3 finale in April.
"Millionaire Matchmaker" started with modest ratings by Bravo standards, but the network seems to be rewarded by sticking with the show and slowly building an audience for Stanger, who's been described as the Simon Cowell of dating shows.
The series still has a ways to go before it matches other Bravo franchises such as "Real Housewives." When Teresa Giudice angrily flipped a table in the season finale of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," Bravo scored 3.5 million viewers.

I hate this show...I think Stanger is tacky and vile. I really hope Bravo doesnt renew it.

Could not disagree more, Deco. I love Patty. She speaks truth to money. and helps a lot of these self absorbed (jerks) people find love by following her lead. Hope she is back next year.

I THINK SHE IS GREAT. SHE SAYS WHAT OTHER PEOPLE WANT TO SAY BUT ARE AFRAID

Agreed - patti is tacky and her mouth looks like it has haemmorhoids. She is a jerk who thinks too much of herself and the show is boringly the same. Why do people watch after the 4th time??? Unless to gawk at the hapless richies...much like herself. Loaded and ugly with no clue how to find a real relationship

Patti considers herself to be an expert in matchmaking. Cannot she then defer to other experts such as in the style department? She badly needs a makeover: hair and clothes. At 47 years of age, she does not need to show so much decolletage, especially when hers is not the appealing decolletage of a younger woman. And bangs? At her age? Cher's influence no doubt.
I do like her spirit and her sincerity. She seems to genuinely want to make people happy. A little makeover of her physical appearance could create a Patti that would be very impressive.
