Ramsay’s Best Restaurant: Two young culinary upstarts from Yorkshire challenge a rocker-turned-restaurateur in this new episode (6, 9 and 11 p.m. BBC America). 

NCIS: Rena Sofer (“24”) guest stars in this repeat episode of the military-themed action drama (8 p.m. CBS). 

Hardcore Pawn: The reality series about a family-run Detroit pawnshop returns with back-to-back episodes (10 and 10:30 p.m. Tru). 


Rudolph’s Shiny New Year: The red-nosed reindeer is called upon to save another holiday in this animated tale (8 p.m. ABC). 


The Hangover: Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakas star in this raucous 2009 comedy about the aftermath of a bachelor party in Las Vegas (8 p.m. Cinemax). 

The Proposal: Sandra Bullock had herself a sizable hit with this 2009 romantic comedy costarring Ryan Reynolds and Betty White (8 p.m. Encore). 

The Last Samurai: Tom Cruise finds action and romance in 19th century Japan in this 2003 period drama directed by Ed Zwick (10 p.m. Cinemax). 

Zombieland: Woody Harrelson and “The Social Network’s” Jesse Eisenberg go head-to-head with the undead in this 2009 mash-up of action, horror and comedy (10 p.m. Starz). 


College football: North Carolina State faces West Virginia in the Champs Sports Bowl (3:30 p.m. ESPN), and Iowa meets Missouri in the Insight Bowl (7 p.m. ESPN). 

Hockey: Boston battles Tampa Bay (4:30 p.m. VS), and the Ducks face the Phoenix Coyotes (6 p.m. FS Prime). 

Basketball: The Lakers visit the San Antonio Spurs (5:30 p.m. KCAL).
