Biography: Ellen DeGeneres is profiled in this new episode (7 p.m. Biography). 

NCIS: A Marine who was fond of playing pranks is found dead the night before Halloween in this new episode (8 p.m. CBS). 

The Biggest Loser: The contestants live and train like Marines for a week at Camp Pendleton in this new episode (8 p.m. NBC). 

NCIS: Los Angeles: The search for a large amount of cash believed to have been stolen by a group called the Jihadist Raiders Front leads the agents to a bank where the money has allegedly been moved … and a plot to rob that bank in this new episode (9 p.m. CBS). 

Nova: This new episode includes personal stories from people who became caught inside elevators that failed, explores how they work and then goes for a ride on the world's fastest elevator in the world's tallest building (9 p.m. KCET). 

Mysteries at the Museum: This new series visits museums around the country to reveal the secrets behind treasures exhibited and stored within their walls (9 p.m. Travel). 

Independent Lens: Celebrated Cree filmmaker Neil Diamond (not the famous singer) narrates “Reel Injun,” his witty and good-natured exploration of how Native Americans have been portrayed in movies over the past century (10 p.m. KCET).

MOVIES

Black Sunday: In this 1977 thriller, an Israeli major (Robert Shaw) helps the FBI capture a female terrorist (Marthe Keller) from who has joined forces with an unstable Vietnam War vet (Bruce Dern) to attack the Super Bowl (7:30 p.m. Cinemax). 

SPORTS

Basketball: The Memphis Grizzlies visit the Lakers (7:30 p.m. FSN).
