Charlie Sheen's lawyer scoffs at legal threat from Capri Anderson

Charlie Sheen is not about to let someone else besmirch his good name.

The colorful star of CBS' "Two and a Half Men" is bashing back against Capri Anderson, a porn actress who claims he attacked her during a meltdown last month at the Plaza Hotel in New York.

Anderson told ABC's "Good Morning America" that she would file a criminal complaint against Sheen, who she says threw things at her and tried to choke her. "I never expected the night would unfold the way it did," Anderson said, with probably more than a little understatement. "He seemed like a very egotistical person." She says she spurned a $20,000 offer to keep quiet.

But Sheen's attorney Yale Galanter says Anderson is merely after a bigger prize. "Ms. Capri never made any allegation to the police of any wrongful conduct on the part of Mr. Sheen the night of the incident and she had every opportunity to do so," he said in a statement. "She also posted on her website that she was 'fine' and if you wanted to see more of her, for a price, one could enter the website ... If she pursues legal action, we will defend this vigorously."

 

Hard to believe it, but less than a year has passed since Sheen was charged with threatening his wife at knifepoint.

Great publicity for “Four and One Half Men”. Opps did I say Four and One Half Men? … Sure did. Think about this program … it is reality tv about Charlie Sheen. We could call it Me Myself and I plus my nephew and brother. That is too long of a title soooo Four and One Half Men is much better.
