CBS' 'Early Show' shakeup
The early bird doesn't always get the worm.
CBS' "Early Show" is playing musical chairs yet again by replacing its on-air team. Making their exit are Maggie Rodriguez, Harry Smith and Dave Price.
Moving in are Chris Wragge and Erica Hill, co-anchors of the Saturday edition of the "Early Show" since 2008, who are scheduled to take over as co-anchors of the weekday show starting Jan. 3.
Also joining the team will be Jeff Glor, who has been anchoring the network's Saturday newscast, and Marysol Castro of ABC's "Good Morning America" weekend edition, who will serve as a weather anchor.
Smith will become the primary substitute anchor for Katie Couric's evening newscast, "Face the Nation" and "Sunday Morning."
New roles for Rodriguez and Price are to be determined.

My husband and I like Harry, Maggie and Dave we always watch their show in the morning . It will not be the same without them . I have not been watching like I would have with them on the show

Maggie, Harry & Dave made the show...i have since quit watching...very disappointing

I am very disapointed in this!!!! I was shocked to see the whole cast gone!! What a terrible way to start off the new year, was so looking forward to them every morning, the show will not be the same and frankly I dont care for none of the new people!!!!

I've tuned in a few times to the watch the new CBS Early Show. What a big mistake! Even though I wasn't a big fan of Chris before, he's OK - no way he belongs filling Harry shoes, but he's better than the other 3 to me. Erica can't fill Maggie's tiny shoes and Jeff and Marysol are not even slight competition for Dave.
I'd like to see the old team. I'd also love to see Betty Nguyen - the way she handles all of "UP TO THE MINUTE" - She does a better job at all positions than the 4 new guys do. I'd love to see Harry, Dave, Maggie and Betty - now that would be a GREAT TEAM. These new guys don't do it for me or anyone else I've been reading about. CBS PAY ATTENTION!

i use to watch the early show but now i'm watching a different news maggie and dave always made me smile and i enjoyed watching them but now there gone bad mistake..!!!!!!!!

CBS has made a very bad mistake replacing the Early show hosts. The ones they have hired now will not bring CBS out of the third place position. They are not nearly as good as Harry, Maggie and Dave. We loved this combination so much. The new hosts are just plain boring.

I don't care for the new people on the early show. They are not exciting, personal and do not hold my interst during the show. Bring the other hosts and anchors back. Noone will ever be able to replace Harry Smith. And Dave Price was also very good, and a people person. Both Harry and Dave were enjoyable, hold our interest, and looked forward to the show everyday. We will not watch the Early show again or maybe not as often and only for a few minutes should we turn it on the show. We didn't care for the new anchors etc on the Saturday show and this makes it worse. No good.

I can't believe what you people have done, What... in... the... world were you thinking?????? The new crew don't even come close to matching up with Dave, Harry and Maggie. You CBS has messed up ROYALLY this time. Shame on you cbs. SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!! Stupid move...STUPID MOVE!!!!!!!!!!

What a terrible mistake you have made!!!!! I have been trying to remain loyal to the show, but I think I will be leaving.......I think it is so bad....boring and much inferior to the people who were there.

I have watched The Morning Show for the last 10 years and most of my favorite shows are on CBS but they definitely made a mistake when they got rid of Harry and Dave. Maggie I could do without but I'd take her back every day and twice on Sunday over this new crew. They are not enjoyable at all and that Marysol is horrible. I tried watching for the first month but couldn't take it anymore and switched to The Today Show. Sorry CBS but you really screwed up. Better try again and do it quick.

What a terrible crock!! I have been wondering what happened to Dave, Harry & Maggie. I just happened to find this Website. It makes me madder now that I know what supposedly happened. Definitely thinking about NOT watching the Early Show anymore. Dave was so much fun to watch, Harry was just someone to feel comfortable watching, and Maggie was just so sweet. I think the change is a real mistake!! Dave was not only a good weatherman, but he could join in with everyone else on the program and always added to the show. Harry substitutes on the evening news. I don't know what Maggie is doing now but she will be missed. I can't see why you would change a good thing. You people do some of the dumbest stuff that makes no sense. Big mistake on replacing Harry, Maggie and Dave.
Can't stand to watch Chris Wragge rush through segments. His only conern is the time and next guest, segment, commercial, etc. blah, blah! Kinda arrogant. Whatta _____.
Dave, Harry & Maggie were the BEST ones on the early show.

I tried to get a Question to President Obama and was cut of f as usual , my question was when is he going to help the SENIOR CITIZENS who has not got a cost of living raise for THREE YEARS and need it badly. WE NEED THE MEDICAID CARD ,SO we get get the help to go to the Doctors when WE need to. And we wil NOT ABUSE The SYSTEM ljke some of the young do. WE can't afford to run up bills and therefore won't go to the doctor unless we really have to. We wish the GOVERNMENT WOULD WAKE UP AND SE WHAT WE ARE TRYING TO GET THROUGH THERE HEADS . WE don'thave enough to make it from month to month, it is very hard to make, yet you cater to the rich who has evrything . We have NOTHING to keep a good outlook on life. We also could use more Money since the price of everything has went up in cost whether you think it has or not. Doctors charge anywhere from $75.0 to $400.00 an ofice call and Medicare pays all but $ 400.00 and then we are stuck paying that and if you don't pay it within 6 months they turn it over to collects, and they are hard to deal with because they are rich also. Please send this on to the Presidents beings I didn't get this in while he was on th Early Show on May 12,2011. Not a one of you people could LIVE on what we are. We sure would like to buy some of the NEW AND PRETY CLOTHES but never have the MONEY to do so.
