'Two and a Half Men' feels heat again after latest Charlie Sheen meltdown

Less than a year after he was charged with threatening his wife at knifepoint, Charlie Sheen is apparently back in trouble. Numerous sources are reporting that the "Two and a Half Men" star was found naked and drunk Tuesday morning after trashing his room at New York's Plaza Hotel.

According to RadarOnline, Sheen had been on a cocaine bender for days when he couldn't find his wallet and flew into a rage at the unidentified prostitute who was with him.

The statement from Sheen's publicist, Stan Rosenfield, offered a somewhat different take: "What we are able to determine is that Charlie had an adverse allergic reaction to some medication and was taken to the hospital, where he is expected to be released tomorrow."

It's unclear what effect the latest troubles will have on "Two and a Half Men," which dodged a bullet earlier this year after Sheen struck a probation deal and avoided serious jail time in the spousal abuse case. Production is on a scheduled break this week, but delays could result if Sheen's treatment takes longer than expected or he winds up charged for the hotel incident.

A spokesman for Warner Bros., which makes the show, declined to comment.

I am done with Charlie Sheen. I was a fan for years but. him and his show is going down the tubes. Its to bad because the co-actors on his show are so great.
I think the writing of the show needs to follow a new avenue. Sexual stories are getting very old.

I am rather sick of hearing about charlie sheen's latest antics. This man needs some serious counseling,or rather be commited to a facility for behavior and alcohol problems!!What a poor excuse of a father. He is setting really poor examples for his children. If I were Denise, his x,I would not let him be around his small children until he got some serious help!I bet his father is throughly disgusted with his behavior by now!!and his publisher should stop making excuses for his behavior!!!Doesn't charlie ever get tired of embaressing himself? He needs more than a slap on the wrist,he needs a kick in the you know what and start acting like a man instead of a high school brat,in other words charlie man up!,and start thinking about how your behavior effects all your family members, esp your kids!! shame on you charlie, get some help.........

Shades of John Belushi, NBC, Lorne Michaels and Bernie Brillstein. CBS, Warner Bros and all these professional handmaidens are the ultimate enablers for Sheen's apparent resumption of a clearly out of control lifestyle, details of which are emerging today at warp speed. It's unfortunate if Sheen's network and studio partners are simply looking aside with fingers crossed that he'll fulfill that very lucrative new contract before completely self-destructing so they don't lose their investments and the revenue they forecast. Even Lindsay Lohan's leeches finally acknowledged a problem with her. Who in Sheen's circle will finally step up and show some humanity toward him?

I love this guy....

What a pig. What shame he has brought to his family and a revered actor we love, Martin, his father. This is not newsworthy. It is another soupbowl of vomit the media throws upon us viewers and readers. Trash the show. And lets move on to actors who have talent and morals.

I can tell you exactly why Charlie Sheen is an multiple-addict:

He's being paid an outrageous sum of money for a ridiculously phoned-in role on a very popular but very unfunny and juvenile sitcom.

That, for an actor, is the road to addiction.

What self-respecting prostitute would find herself with Charlie Sheen? Jeez, what an embarrassment for her.

So what's the lesson kids? Do drugs, do drugs, do drugs -- and you too may one day get paid 1.8 million dollars, per episode, in your very own successful sitcom!

Mr.Sheen really needs professional intervention before its too late, his character needs to be written out of the show for an extended period until he gets it under control.

2 1/2 MEN has been circling the drain thematically, particularly this season and Mr Sheen's character has been projecting his personal demons for years Its obviously apparent Mr. Sheen is in tremendous pain as a result of a life devoted to debauchery and substance abuse and those who love him need to be concerned.

And those using him as a cash cow should be ashamed, but its Hollywood what can you expect, but bottom line thinking.

is he ever going to grow up?

his behavior grew old YEARS ago.

wow, im shocked that cocaine is used by the Hollyweird crowd...this cant be true...I am so stunned..zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I was just discussing last nghts episode with coworkers today before i heard this news. always loved charlie and the gang from two and a half men. never miss it and watch all reruns. he looked terrible in last weeks episode and last nights episode. last night with allen wacking off was a little raunchy, even for an opened minded woman like me. the show has been going downhill lately, which is a shame because all are so talented on that show and i look forward to monday nights watching it. but today, charlie, you really blew it. 1.8 million an episode and you need a hooker? Too bad you and denise could not have worked it out, at least you were solid befor you messed up that relationship. and the kids, how sad. time to face reality charlie, sorry to say, but you are a disappointmet to your numbr one fan, me..........sorry for the rest of the cast, but don't think this show will go on much longer because of charlie. all the other cast is great also. love allen, berta, jake, mom, you are screwing them all over big time..........don't like the direction allen has been going in. writers do something!!! if this show continues. very disappointed.

These comments and this story, are better written than the tired sex-chase antics of "2 & 1/2 Men". Writer's Guild anyone?

CBS will keep blowing this off because he's a star on one of their hottest properties.

One would hope that Sheen's probation is violated and that he actually has to do some time. It appears that his father's "tough love" of many years hasn't had anything like a beneficial effect on Charlie's actions.

I love Charlie Sheen and his show!!

Forget this show, what they should do is create a show based on this nut's life. How he gets drunk, uses drugs, pays for hookers, and needs his ex wife to calm him down.

This stuff has the making of a 30 share I would guess. Maybe bring on Lohan as his live in girl friend and the tiffany network would be raking in the money like decades ago.

How can two and a half men stay on the air. Yesterdays show was appaling.
All about alan masterbating. This crap needs to end! How can they allow this to be shown during peak times. Hardly a family show.
I will take the shows in the 50's anyday.

I love charlie and I dont give a damn if he loves prostitutes. We all do otherwise there wouldn't be one. I love two and a half men. i love charlie. His personal problems are non of my concern.Just let him be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know why the show Two and a half men has become so much more vulgar? It is really gross, I am an adult woman and I don't want to hear that crap. The same point can be made without saying such gross words throughout the show, very dissapointing.

Does anyone realize what a talent this is, and how intricately interwoven with his persona his using is? Who are any of you to call him names, or compalin that his behavior is different than your own? Why isn't he writing about you? At least somebody is living in this numbed-out planet

that said, the confluence of events indicates the need for a change. But he might not see it that way. Try a little undergorund literature for a look at the other side of this life. It's not on a one-way street.
