ROCKET SCIENCE: The dean asks the study group to clean and refurbish the Greendale flight simulator in a new episode of “Community” at 8 p.m. on NBC. With Danny Pudi.

SERIES

Bones: While the team tries to solve the case of a skull and decomposing hands found in a trash bin, children’s television personality known as “The Science Dude” (David Alan Grier) asks Brennan (Emily Deschanel) if he can shoot an episode in the Jeffersonian (8 p.m. Fox).

30 Rock: This episode of the popular comedy will be broadcast live. Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin star (8:30 p.m. NBC).

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: A serial killer (Daniel Browning Smith) punishes local Vegas heroes who harbor secrets. Ann-Margret guest stars with Laurence Fishburne, Marg Helgenberger and George Eads (9 p.m. CBS).

The Office: Believing he has contracted a sexually transmitted disease, Michael (Steve Carell) contacts all his former girlfriends, including Jan and Holly (Melora Hardin, Amy Ryan) in this new episode (9 p.m. NBC).

The Real Housewives of D.C.: Cast members answer questions in a reunion episode of the unscripted series (9 p.m. Bravo).

Project Runway: The final five designers are treated to a night of luxury in a penthouse suite before a prominent New York figure gives the designers the final challenge to determine who moves on to fashion week in this new episode (9 p.m. Lifetime).

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Kelsey Grammer and his wife, Camille, ended their marriage in part because she wanted to be a part of this latest “Housewives” franchise. The cast also includes Paris Hilton’s aunts, former Disney child stars Kyle and Kim Richards (10 p.m. Bravo).

Food Feuds: In the premiere of this new unscripted cooking series, meatballs and pizza, two Italian favorites prepared at competing restaurants are compared (10 p.m. Food).

MOVIES The Terminator: James Cameron directed this 1984 science fiction thriller starring Arnold Schwarzenegger as a cyborg sent back in time to prevent the birth of a revolutionary leader by rubbing out his mom (Linda Hamilton) (10:45 p.m. AMC).

SPORTS

Preseason basketball: The Denver Nuggets visit the Clippers (7:30 p.m. FS Prime).
