‘The Vampire Diaries’ trailer: ‘Suck it up or leave’

Bad news: There’s no new episode of “The Vampire Diaries” this week. And things were just getting so juicy with the revelation that Katherine (Nina Dobrev) and Mason (Taylor Kinney) are working together.
Good news: The CW has released a new teaser trailer, which was shown at New York Comic-Con on Sunday.
That trailer only covers the next two episodes. Crazy, right? Among the things we have to look forward to: Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) joining the fight, Alaric (Matt Davis) and his weapons, Jenna (Sara Canning) being as clueless as ever, the return of Bonnie (Katerina Graham), Nina Dobrev getting paid to make out with every guy on the show and a masquerade ball. I’m starting to think “The Vampire Diaries” is second only to “The O.C.” in its love for having a community event in almost every episode.
