Austin City Limits: Texas singer-songwriters Robert Earl Keen and Hayes Carll perform in this new installment of the concert series (11 p.m. KLCS). 

Saturday Night Live: “Mad Men's” Jon Hamm returns as host, with musical guest Rihanna (11:29 p.m. NBC). 


The Truth Behind Zombies: Do the living dead really walk the earth? Find out in this new special (7 and 10 p.m. National Geographic). 

Scared Shrekless: NBC encores this computer-animated Halloween special featuring the green ogre (Mike Myers) and his storybook pals (8 p.m. NBC). 


Amelia: Hilary Swank portrays famed aviatrix Amelia Earhart in this 2009 biopic directed by Mira Nair (8 p.m. HBO). 

Alien: Sigourney Weaver and John Hurt star in director Ridley Scott's terrifying 1979 creature feature (8 p.m. IFC). 

Red: Werewolf Hunter: “The Guild's” Felicia Day stars in this 2010 made-for-cable action fable about a modern-day descendant of Little Red Riding Hood (9 p.m. Syfy). 

Cat People: Simone Simon stars in this eerie 1942 thriller (11 p.m. TCM). 


College football: The UCLA Bruins battle Arizona (12:30 p.m. FS Prime) and the USC Trojans host Oregon (5 p.m. ABC).
