LaBamba will be by Conan’s side on TBS

Fans of Team Coco, rejoice! Richie ‘LaBamba’ Rosenberg and his trombone will be joining Conan O’Brien on his new TBS late-night show.

LaBamba will be part of the newly created group the Basic Cable Band, which also will be led by Jimmy Vivino, the former associate music director, arranger, guitarist and vocalist for ‘The Tonight Show With Conan O’Brien’ and ‘Late Night With Conan O’Brien.’

The band also will consist of Scott Healy on keyboards, Mike Merritt on bass, Mark Pender on trumpet, James Wormworth on drums, and Jerry Vivino who sing and play the saxophone and woodwinds.

‘Conan’ premieres on Nov. 8 at 11 p.m.
