World's Toughest Fixes: In the new episode “Alaska Salvage,” Riley joins members of an Alaska salvage crew battling ice and wind as they try to clear an old boat that ran aground on a protected seal habitat (5 and 8 p.m. National Geographic).

Bones: Booth and Brennan (David Boreanaz, Emily Deschanel) and the team struggle to piece together the identity of a couple whose remains are found in a national park cave in this new episode (8 p.m. Fox).

30 Rock: Liz (Tina Fey) helps with a difficult editor (Paul Giamatti) in this new episode (8:30 p.m. NBC).

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Langston and Willows (Laurence Fishburne, Marg Helgenberger) and the rest of team investigate when a woman is fatally attacked by a shark in the pool at a Las Vegas casino, but the question is whether the real killer may be human. Elliott Gould guest stars (9 p.m. CBS).

The Office: The corporate office assigns Michael (Steve Carell) to go into counseling with Toby (Paul Lieberstein), the man for whom Michael has a burning and irrational hatred, in this new episode (9 p.m. NBC).

Fringe: The Fringe Team investigates the baffling case of people who are found in a bizarre, trancelike state that ultimately leads to their death, in this new episode (9 p.m. Fox).

Outsourced: Todd (Ben Rappaport) begins doing performance evaluations on his employees, causing them to fear for their job security in this new episode (9:30 p.m. NBC).

The Mentalist: Thomas Jane (Simon Baker) helps his brother-in-law (Kevin Rankin) who comes to town and becomes a suspect in a murder investigation (10 p.m. CBS).

The Apprentice: The teams are challenged to take over running a doggie day care and spa. Cesar Millan (“Dog Whisperer”) makes a guest appearance before Donald Trump announces which team won — and which candidate is fired (10 p.m. NBC).

MOVIES

Camp Victory, Afghanistan: This new TV film documents the National Guard training Afghan soldiers to provide security and stability (10 p.m. KCET).

SPORTS

College football: Texas A&M at Oklahoma State (4:30 p.m. ESPN).

Baseball: The Angels visit the Texas Rangers (5 p.m. FSN).

Golf: Ryder Cup (11:30 p.m. and Friday, 5 a.m. ESPN).
