After more than 4,400 episodes and a mere 28,000 guests, it’s safe to say “The Oprah Winfrey” show has lived its best life.

A life full of a-ha! moments and TV memories forever ingrained in America’s consciousness. A life where a spastic and love-crazed Tom Cruise jumps on couches. A life where Oprah, wearing size 10 jeans, pulled a red wagon full of 67 pounds of fat to represent her weight loss. A life where we learned Mrs. Duncan, Oprah’s fourth-grade teacher, had a first name, Mary. A life where 276 lucky audience members drove off happy in shiny new cars (‘You get a car! You get a car! You get a car!’). A life where screaming celebrity names was simply the only way to introduce someone onstage. A life where books became stars.

All good things, though, must come to an end.

The 25th and final season of the landmark daytime TV show starts airing Monday.

But the talk show queen isn’t walking slowly into the light. She’s dancing … with John Travolta. The friends strut through the famous stage doors to “Love Train” by the O’Jays in the season premiere — quite the kickoff, right?

Winfrey’s farewell season isn’t goodbye forever. The media mogul is set to launch her Oprah Winfrey Network, or OWN, on Jan. 1.

To celebrate (or mourn) the loss of the icon in TV programming, we encourage you to share your favorite moments from the show in the comments section.

Here’s a look at what you can expect from the premiere episode:
