Jennifer Grey dances into your 'House'

If Jennifer Grey didn't make you cry Monday night when she was remembering Patrick Swayze during her first rehearsal with Derek Hough on "Dancing With the Stars," you must not have been watching.

Soon, there will be other opportunities to cry with Grey. She is guest-starring in the Oct. 18 episode of "House."

Grey will play Abbey, a woman whose newborn daughter becomes a patient of Dr. House and his team immediately after she's born. Abbey is forced to make a heart-wrenching decision about her baby's medical care, and by the end of the episode, viewers are guaranteed to be in tears, a Fox spokeswoman said.

Oh, Baby.

if you were not moved to tears, YOU HAVE NO HEART, NO SOUL, OR NO COMPASSION. Jennifer was fantastic!

As soon as I saw her dancing I immediately thought of Patrick. It was surreal to see her on the dance floor again. Brings back great memories.... Patrick would be very proud of her.

Barry is right, it was completely surreal, and I felt her every emotion as the practice and the dancing progressed. Well done, Jennifer, I can only imagine the guts it took and it turned out fantastically.

Jennifer's "tribute" to Patrick last night was beautiful! Well done, Baby! Hope you make it to the finals; I'm rooting for you! : )

While watching the show, when Jennifer Grey broke down, so did I. You see, twenty seven yrs.(27) ago today the 21st I buried my husband at age 39, his life was taken. Had he studied he would have been another Patrick Swayze. He was from Chicago, and a dancer and a half. I had so much fun following him.
Then on top of that, My Son, Patrick left me, died from HIV at age 29, and on the twenty-seventh (27) of Sept. it will be 16 yrs. They passed 11 yrs apart in the same month. That definately broke my heart when "Baby" ran out of rehearsal. Not only did it bring back "Dirty Dancing", which I have a double video of, but the fact that my deceased Son's name is Patrick, and my deceased husband was a GREAT DANCER, Plus "MY NICKNAME ALL MY LIFE" has been "BABY !" I needed that good cry, "Thank You !"

I love you Jennifer Grey, you are my pick of this season, and YOU LOOK AWSOME !!!!!!

Always, Your Fan,
Judith

I was brought to tears by Jennifer's beautiful dance with Eric Hough. The music and the way they moved on the dance floor was absolutely stunning. It felt as if Patrick was watching over them and gliding Jennifer across the floor as he gave her the courage to get her through her first dance. I am curious to know if Jennifer has any formal dance training, other than during "Dirty Dancing" (which is one of my favorite movies). Jennifer is my pick for the season. She is clearly talented, and I think she looks great. I also think Derrick was an excellent choice as her partner. I can't wait to see her other dances!

I really agreed with Bruno when he said that Jennifer was back where she belongs—on the dance floor. Jennifer was beautiful on the dance floor. You could literally feel genuine emotions coming from her as she waltzed, and I was near tears when she thought of Patrick and went out...It was all so sad. Jennifer deserves to win, especially after her fantastic jive (hey, the judges should at least give her a 9. She was definitely good enough, and better than Audrina Patridge if you ask me. But the judges ain't asking me D:) and the samba (despite the lil' mistake. But face it, that move was a complicated tangle of arms!)

After the initial shock of finding that the awesome 'Baby', the one who made me love ballroom dancing, was part of the cast faded, I was so excited to watch her dance. It was literally a counting down to each week so that I can watch her, and see her score, and cheer for her and Derek. Derek's a fab dancer too, though it was really sad that Julianne couldn't come D:

But still, I'm wishing very, very hard that at the end of the day, Jennifer would get a shot with the mirror ball trophy. Else there'll be no fairness in this world.

Jennifer, you have been special to alot of us since Dirty Dancing. I also laughed so hard when you kicked "Mr. Rooney" in the face! You are the most professional dancer on DWTS this season and deserve to win. If you do not win because of political voting, ABC will never be played on our TV's again. Brandy's elimination was an outrage to fans of this show. Brandy performed much better than Bristol. The Palins' should be ashamed to use their political and private website to garner votes for Bristol.
