TBS has just announced the title of Conan O’Brien’s new late-night show. It’s plain and simple: ‘Conan.’

‘I’m just using ‘Conan’ and dropping the ‘O’Brien’ because I want to get away from the whole Irish thing,’ the comic said in a news release.

On Twitter, where he announced that the title would be made public Wednesday, he added: ‘The words ‘Tonight’ and ‘Show’ aren’t on it.’
