Explorer: This new installment recalls the dropping of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan in 1945 (7 and 10 p.m. National Geographic).

Melissa & Joey: Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence team up for this new sitcom about a politician and the “manny” she hires to watch her kids (8 and 8:30 p.m. ABC Family).

America's Got Talent: The judges call back a dozen acts for a second shot in this new episode (9 p.m. NBC).

I Shouldn't Be Alive: A man finds himself stranded in the Australian Outback in this new episode (9 p.m. Animal Planet).

Hawthorne: Christina (Jada Pinkett Smith) seeks Det. Renata's (guest star Marc Anthony) assistance in this new episode of the hospital drama (9 p.m. TNT).

Shaq vs.: The NBA great goes up against TV chef Rachael Ray in a cooking challenge and sprinter Tyson Gay in a footrace in this new episode (9:01 p.m. ABC).

Big Lake: Chris Gethard plays a Wall Street type forced to move back in with his folks in this new sitcom; “SNL's” Horatio Sanz and Chris Parnell also star. (10 and 10:30 p.m. Comedy Central).

The Colony: The colonists contend with a fire in their camp in this new episode of the reality series (10 p.m. Discovery).

Real Sports With Bryant Gumbel: So-called White House party crashers Michaele and Tareq Salahi are profiled in this new episode (10 p.m. HBO).

MOVIES

Bram Stoker's Dracula: Gary Oldman vamps it up in director Francis Ford Coppola's 1992 take on the horror tale; Winona Ryder and Anthony Hopkins also star. (8 p.m. KDOC).

Hard Candy: “Inception's” Ellen Page stars in this edgy 2006 thriller (8:05 p.m. IFC).

The Last Mistress: Asia Argento stars in this steamy 2007 period drama set in 19th century France (10 p.m. Sundance).

SPORTS

Baseball: The Angels visit the Red Sox (4 p.m. FSN); the Rangers play the Rays or the Tigers face the Yankees (4 p.m. MLB); and the Dodgers host the Rockies (7 p.m. KCAL).

Women's basketball: The Sparks welcome the Mercury (7:30 p.m. FS Prime).

Anyone else here find that the History Channels over-hype and sensationalize their version of history with breathy, often un fact checked narration, that reduces most things to fear mongering, war and weapon love, and American slanted propaganda?

(Yes, the above question did contain its own editorial slant)

There is nothing real about Michaele Salahi. Broke and self-absorbed she wants everyone to stop talking about her and her husband Tared Salami Crashing the WH. If we don't talk about that all that is left is a trail of bad debts, a winery in bankruptcy, a family's internal fued fought out in the courts, a narcissistic, self-proclaimed "It" couple thinking if they put on the pretense long enough they will be accepted as part of Washington DC's elite.
