Danielle Staub leaving 'Real Housewives of New Jersey'?

It seems not even a blueberry-banana smoothie has enough antioxidants to keep Danielle Staub on the air.

For two seasons, Staub has brought the drama (or light and love, whichever you prefer) to “The Real Housewives of New Jersey." Now there are reports that the Bravo-lebrity won’t be on board for the third season.

Could it be true? It’s not exactly clear.

“Actually, I’m not even thinking about season 3 right now as I am considering many incredible options that have been presented to me …” Staub posted on her Twitter page. “Don’t worry next year, I’ll still be the one you either love to hate or hate to love.”

And the network is mum: “We haven't announced anything regarding a third season,” said a Bravo representative.

The Season 2 finale of "RHONJ" airs Aug. 23,  followed by a two-part reunion that airs on Aug. 30 and Sept. 6.

Danielle is the star of RHONJ. The others are just boring. Strange that so many seem to hate her - but Danielle is not the one with the filthy mouth or the one who trash talks about everyone else behind their back. I did not see Danielle making fun of the other women or calling the other women pigs with her children - like that Caroline and Jacqueline did with Jacqueline's son when they went to the farm. How special it must be Jacqueline to teach your young child to make fun of people and call them a pig - just so special... Maybe that is why your daughter Ashley has so many problems and snots off to you with no respect... I think Danielle is the most real person on the show and I hope Danielle uses the exposure to move on to bigger and better things.

I think Daniel did a great job of displaying her real self. But not a real housewife. She, being an aging , lonsome stripper trying to fit in too hard with anybody is awful to watch. All that botox and whatever else she does to her face, hair and body -she needs to buy Teresa's huge mirror from the forecloser sale and stop the plastic surgerty clinic appts. umm maby after Holloween though!

I am appalled that anyone could look at this woman and call her beautiful, say they love her, etc. She's a nightmare and plays the victim... always. It amazes me that ANYONE who watches this show could come away from it and call themselves Team Danielle. UGH.

Without the stupid drama of Danielle "they got nothing". How many more scenes do we need of Caroline weeping over a not so empty nest. Or Albie whining about his grades? Or Teresa grabbing and stealing her way through life? Or Joe insulting her along the way? Or watching those kids wear more crap on their unibrows? Or Ashley smirking her way through a segment?

If Bravo is relying on Kim G to become their next "star" they are sadly mistaken. How many times do we need to see this old hag dressing like Britney Spears and screaming obscenities in order to maintain her place? And bringing back Dina to gaze into her crystal ball is lowering the bar altogether.

Bravo needs to pull the plug on this travesty before we all die of boredom.

Danielle is disgusting. I feel so badly for her children. She video taped HERSELF having "sex" by HERSELF (thinking of the details of that actually makes me throw up in my mouth every time) and then tried to blame it on the boyfriend. She is used up and dirty. What kind of a role model is she for those girls. I would like to adopt both of them so that they can have a real mother and learn how to condut themselves in a proper manner. Shame on you, Danielle (or whaterever your name is) with your 15 aliases. She should not be paid another dime for her dispicable behavior! We won't miss you!!

BRAVO knows how to play fans of the Real Housewives like a fiddle.

Great way to boost the audience for the season finale of the NJ show. Many of the fans were almost ready to vomit as Teresa, Housewife of Denial and Overspending While Bankrupct and hubby Juice Joe Driving Under the Influence after he wrecks his car right before the police come and Boring Caroline and Jacqueline with their husbands turn an European Vacation into Whose Stuck Babysitting Demanding Diva Dolls while there parents have sex to make a baby boy after four failed attempts.

And Dina, godmother to baby #4, Audrianna, helped coordinate Audrianna’s audacious Marie Antoinette Christening 200 sit-down dinner paid for by her bankrupct parents who seemed to be attempting to compete against the Chelsea Clinton Wedding, Dina (Ms "Blame someone else for your troubles") - What's your reason for not going on the family vacation? How is Danielle the blame for you not being able to be with your family in Italy?

Well BRAVO, you really surprised us this time - SURPRISE - the rich lying bankrupt mean girls win again, and if you're not with them or receive their grace or forgiveness for whatever happened 25 years ago - no second chances for you and you'll never be anyone of value.

The only good news for me is that I won't have to view Caroline, Teresa, Jacqueline, Ashley or Dina ever again after the season finale. Bye bye girls. Goodbye Bravo. Spend Season Three talking about how you chased the ugly girl and her breasts out of town with your new bff Kim G.

After Danielle leaves this show at Season Finale - I can add this unReality Show of my "why would I ever watch this boring show" list.

The other NJ housewives are unwatchable, they're so stupid and boring. They're such obvious phonies, as well. I may not like Danielle, but, at least she was real, in her own way. She is the star of the show, no doubt, and every episode has her as the theme. Otherwise, what are we supposed to watch? These adult teenage morons spending money and bragging how great they are, when they have the morals of lowlives? They act like thugs and bullies, themselves, but, are all so quick to act holier than thou. I have to zip past their ridiculous segments. While Caroline has some substance, Jacqueline and Theresa are morons, and the worst moms I have ever seen. At least Danielle has the nicest kids. It sounds like there won't be a third season. Why bother?

I think for the series to stay fresh they need to recast every now and then. For two seasons it has been the cast vs. Danielle, they need to move on.

I don't watch her on the series now, she sickens me. What trash! I just turn the station until I think she is off, then watch the other ladies. I all but stopped watching the show since Dina left. I can't stand Danielle and I think it's horrible to give someone so dangerously mentally ill a platform like this and to encourage her paranoid delusions. I hope they drop Danielle completely, bring Dina back and replace Theresa and Jacqueline with some more interesting socialites from the area, or bring more of Dina and Carolines siblings in. I could enjoy a show about the Manzo clan, but I really think that it's never going to be fun watching Theresa again.

If there is a season three it could actually be fun. Teresa, Joe and the four girls living in the apartment above the pizzeria making and serving pizzas. Jacqueline bailing her daughter out of jail. Caroline turning to booze to fill the void of her empty nest. Think of all of the possibilities....
