Catching up with 'Flipping Out's' Jeff Lewis [Video]

August 10, 2010 |  2:00 pm

Lewis Bravo’s original flipper is back -- Teresa Guidice, take your table elsewhere.

Jeff Lewis, the neurotic (and slightly manic) real estate investor and star of Bravo’s “Flipping Out,” returns with a dose of tantrums and outbursts -- peppered in between his time spent spiffing up houses, salons and even restaurants -- with the Season 4 premiere of the show Tuesday night.  And his team, which includes chief operating officer Jenni Pulos and an assortment of helpers (can you imagine a world without Jett and Zoila? I’d hate to live in it), is there to endure it all. One noticeable absentee, though, is Ryan Brown. The Lewis/Brown drama heated up in Season 3 but is merely a footnote in the premiere episode.

So what can you expect? (Stop here or forever hold your peace if you'd rather wait to experience the nuttiness on your own.)

Viewers will see a home-version of happy hour, peeing dogs and Zoila's attempt to escape the confines of Lewis’ home to, um, wax her nether regions? Add a depressing housing market mixed with some obsessive-compulsive moodiness -- ah, Tuesdays nights have never been so good!

Catch the premiere Tuesday at 9 p.m. EDT/PDT.

Or check out this video to hear Lewis and Pulos dish and banter about it.
