SUNDAY

TUESDAY

They tried to tell us we’re too young…: Two teens (Michael Seater, Stacey Farber) go from neighbors to newlyweds when a harmless game of truth-or-dare turns high-stakes in the new sitcom “18 to Life.” Congrats, kids! (KTLA, 9 and 9:30 p.m.)

WEDNESDAY

On the return of “Criss Angel Mindfreak,” the illusionist — perhaps trying to out-Evel Evel Knievel — attempts to leap the Grand Canyon on a motorcycle-like contraption. Our advice: Don’t look down. (A&E, 10 p.m.)

THURSDAY

Legend has it our nation’s capital was built on a swamp. On a completely unrelated note, “The Real Housewives of D.C.,” the latest iteration of the reality TV franchise, makes its much-hyped debut. With Michaele Salahi. (Bravo, 9 p.m.)

FRIDAY

The banana peels, the incessant screeching … finally, you admit it: “My Child Is a Monkey.” Meet people for whom primates are more than just pets in this new special. Above, Scott Ricci with Lacey. (National Geographic, 6 and 9 p.m.)

SATURDAY

“The Box”… what’s in it? A button that when pressed will end the life of a stranger. What’s in it for you? A cool million. Who’s in it? Cameron Diaz and Frank Langella. Richard Kelly directed this intriguing 2009 thriller. (Cinemax, 10 p.m.)

Shark Week on Discovery

If it’s summer, it must be time for another edition of the Discovery Channel’s annual “Shark Week.” This series of new specials launches with “Ultimate Air Jaws,” in which big sharks catch big air in pursuit of their prey. (9 p.m. Sunday)

Gordon Ramsay’s Great Escape on BBC America

The new three-part series “Gordon Ramsay’s Great Escape” sends the celebrity chef and TV host to India to study its ancient culinary traditions and, perhaps, unlock the myriad mysteries of curry. (BBC America, 6 and 9 p.m. Thursday)

Scrappers on Spike TV

We’ve all seen them: Rugged men in ramshackle vehicles, scouring the highways and byways for scrap metal to recycle. They’re “Scrappers,” and they get their due in this new reality series. (Spike, 10 and 10:31 p.m. Tuesday)
