The lifestyles of the rich and the famous aren’t always TV gold. But they do make for great gossip — no matter how mundane.

The New York Post is reporting that the CW has canceled Tinsley Mortimer’s reality show “High Society” after just one season.

Not familiar with the show? The series delved into the lives of the Big Apple’s brattiest socialites, with the Park Avenue Princess, Mortimer, at the forefront. But all the razzle and dazzle didn’t translate to a show rich in ratings. The program, which premiered in March, was the season’s least watched premiere on the CW, with 1.3 million viewers, and it didn’t get much better from there, with numbers falling below 1 million.

The source also says Mortimer and her mother and sister, Dale and Dabney — who also appeared on the series — were unhappy with the way they were portrayed on the show.

A network rep, though, says no decision has been made on the future of the show.
