“Better Together” is a sitcom that follows three romantic relationships that are at different stages. First, there’s Vicky and Joel, who have been married for 35 years. Then there’s their oldest daughter Maddie, who has been living with Ben for nine years. And last there’s Mia, who has been dating Casey for seven weeks and has just announced she’s pregnant and is getting married.

Who’s in it: JoAnna Garcia (“Privileged”) as Mia; Jennifer Finnigan (“Close to Home”) as Maddie; Josh Cooke (“I Love You, Man”) as Ben; newcomer Jake Lacy as Casey; Debra Jo Rupp (“That ‘70s Show”) as Vicky; and Kurt Fuller (“Supernatural”) as Joel.

Who made it:
Shana Goldberg-Meehan of “Friends” created it.

Thumbs up:
Three lovely ladies in one sitcom: Garcia, Finnigan and Rupp.

Thumbs down:
We didn’t laugh that much.

Verdict:
While it didn’t make us cringe or shut the TV off, nothing stood out. Not sure we’d go back to it.
